Can Milei and Bukele make Trump more appealing to Latino voters?
One of the consequences of Javier Milei’s presidential win in Argentina has been a momentum swing for right-wingers in the continent, who were retreating after back-to-back defeats for Donald Trump in the U.S. and Jair Bolsonaro in Brazil, both of them followed by embarrassing attempts to retain power through violent protests in Congress.
CPAC. This is why all eyes were set on Mr. Milei during his visit to the U.S. 2024 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), a yearly meeting of right-wingers that reached global relevance since the rise of Mr. Trump, promoting his allies from Brazil to Hungary.
