The website of The Brazilian Report (Brazilian.report) is operated by The Brazilian Report Comunicação LTDA-ME, a company duly incorporated under Brazilian law, corporate tax ID no. 28.319.439/0001-09, whose registered office is at ST SIA Trecho 3, lote 990, Sala 208 Zona Industrial Guara, CEP 71200-030 (herein defined as “The Brazilian Report Comunicação, LTDA-ME” or “we”). The Brazilian Report comunicação LTDA-ME is headquartered in Brazil and has an office in the United States.

The Brazilian Report is dedicated to providing visitors to the Website with a highly interactive and positive experience, while at the same time protecting our rights and the rights of our users. We have developed these Terms and Conditions to govern your use of the Website, and we provide content and services to you subject to the following conditions. The copying, rearrangement, broadcast, rewriting for broadcast or publication, redistribution, modification, use or publication by you in any medium, directly or indirectly, of any such matters or any part of the website, including the removal or alteration of our logo, is strictly prohibited. You may not use such material except as provided in these Terms of Service.

1.2. The Content includes logotypes, trademarks and service marks (collectively “Marks”) owned by The Brazilian Report Comunicação LTDA-ME.  For example, The Brazilian Report is a registered trademark of The Brazilian Report Comunicação LTDA-ME. No Marks may be used in any manner unless approved in advance, in writing by The Brazilian Report.

1.3. You may use the content online and solely for your personal, non-commercial use, and you may download or print a single copy of any portion of the content for your personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not remove any trademark, copyright or other notice contained in such content. No other use is permitted unless otherwise expressly permitted by The Brazilian Report. 2. Membership and Registration

2.1. Certain areas of the Website may require registration or may otherwise ask you to provide information to participate in certain features or access certain content. The decision to provide this information is purely optional, however, if you elect not to provide such information, you may not be able to access certain content or features or participate in various areas of the website. When you register or become a member of the Website or provide information to the Website in any other manner, you agree to provide only true, accurate, current and complete information on all registration pages. Using a name other than your own legal name is prohibited.

2.2. Each subscription is nominative. It can’t apply to a general address. An account means one person and one email. For any irregular activity, we reserve the right to suspend your subscription.

2.3. If you become a member of the website, you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password, and agree you will not sell, transfer or assign your membership or any membership rights. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for restricting access to your computer so that others may not access the website using your name in whole or in part. The Brazilian Report reserves the right to terminate membership and deny access to the website to any person who violates these Terms of Service.

3. Payment

The website owner uses PAYPAL HOLDINGS, INC. and STRIPE, INC. to handle account billing as linked from The Brazilian Report.

3.1. You must provide accurate billing information and keep this information up to date. By subscribing to one of the paid subscription plans for The Brazilian Report, you give the website owner the right to charge your credit card, or bill you via other payment methods, for the recurring fees associated with your The Brazilian Report subscription.

3.2. The Brazilian Report is a subscription service. You pay in advance for each billing cycle on the first day of that cycle. Your subscription to The Brazilian Report will be renewed automatically until you cancel the service. You are responsible for all charges incurred relating to your The Brazilian Report subscription, including any applicable taxes.

3.3. If you subscribe to one of our offers, it will give you full access to our content for 30 days. When the offer ends the subscription will automatically renew as a recurring plan.

4. Changes to subscription plans

4.1. You can change the plan you are subscribed to at any time.
When upgrading your subscription plan, you will be billed for the pro-rate difference from the old to the new plan at the moment of the upgrade. If downgrading (moving to a cheaper plan), we do not refund for unused days, and you remain responsible for any charges incurred to date.

Cancellation

4.2. You can cancel your subscription to The Brazilian Report at any time. Once a subscription has been canceled we will not charge your credit card, or bill you via other payment methods, again. The Brazilian Report will remain available to you until the end of the current billing period. You won’t get reimbursed.

If your payment method does not work, we reserve the right to cancel or make your account unavailable, immediately.

4.3. Any abuse of the service will lead to termination of your account. The website owner reserves the right to decide what is considered an abuse of the service.

Refunds

4.4. If you cancel your account, the website owner will not charge you again, and will not refund for unused days or months.

5. Website Security Rules

You are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of the website, including, without limitation, (a) accessing data not intended for you or logging into a server or account which you are not authorized to access, (b) attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorization, (c) attempting to interfere with service to any user, host or network, including, without limitation, via means of submitting a virus to the Website, overloading, “flooding”, “mailbombing” or “crashing”, or (d) forging any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any -mail, forum, or newsgroup posting.

Violations of system or network security may result in civil or criminal liability. The Brazilian Report will investigate occurrences which may involve such violations and may involve, and cooperate with, law enforcement authorities in prosecuting those who are involved in such violations.

6. Email Addresses

The Brazilian Report respects the privacy of its readers and will not make available for rental its list of registrants Registrants may change their user profile at any time by visiting the “edit my profile.”

7. What kind of personal data we collect

During your navigation through The Brazilian Report, you may be requested to provide your e-mail and name. 

Providing your e-mail and name is the necessary means for you to subscribe to our newsletter and receive content from The Brazilian Report in your e-mail. At this stage, this will be the only data we collect from you.

On our site we also distribute materials (e.g. eBooks, infographics, etc.) by filling out a form. The supply of your work e-mail, name, occupation, surname and name of the company in which you work are necessary data for you to have access to these materials. This information will be used to send you the requested materials by e-mail and to contact you about The Brazilian Report related news.

The Brazilian Report shall have the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add or remove terms of this agreement at any time without notice. Changes shall be effective immediately. You agree to review this agreement periodically since subsequent use by you of the website shall constitute your acceptance of any changes.
