Paulo Mendes da Rocha’s incomparable architecture legacy

🎥 One of the all-time greats of Brazilian architecture, Paulo Mendes da Rocha died on Sunday at the age of 92. A strong believer that “all space is public space,” his design imprint can be seen all over São Paulo, Brazil’s biggest city and Mendes da Rocha’s home since he was six years old. One of the masters of Brazilian brutalism, he helped train generations of future architects and will be sorely missed.
