1.36 million passengers 

Carnival will keep Brazil’s airplanes busy, with 1.36 million people expected to fly to and from the 42 airports managed by state-owned company Infraero during the holidays. The number represents a 3-percent increase from last year. The number of flights is also going up 4.5 percent to 11,556 arrivals and departures over a four-day stretch.
