Brazil’s Health Minister released the latest Covid-19 update:

  • 1,891 confirmed infections
  • 34 deaths registered

That’s a 22-percent bump in infections, while the number of deaths was up by 36 percent since Sunday. The state of São Paulo concentrates 30 deaths—with the remaining four taking place in Rio de Janeiro.

According to the Covid-19 BR Observatory, a platform created by Brazilian scientists for real-time monitoring of infections, Brazil could have almost 8,500 cases by March 27.
