Two Senate bills aim to end long-standing housing aid benefits for federal judges. In response, the Association of Federal Judges of Brazil (Ajufe) has called for a strike on March 15. Ajufe president Roberto Carvalho Veloso said judges should not accept “differential and derogatory treatment”, asserting that federal judges should receive “the remuneration that is due to them, like all Brazilian workers.”
