Brazil’s lower house will likely vote this Wednesday on an indictment request against President Michel Temer, who has been accused of racketeering and obstruction of justice. It will be the second time that Temer faces the possibility of losing his office. This past August, Temer managed to block another request (those charges were for corruption). Barring a major social or political upset, our president is likely to once again escape prosecution.
