New poll, (almost) same results
A highly-anticipated Datafolha presidential poll on Thursday brought results that largely repeat the institute’s previous reading from a month ago. Lula appeared in the lead, again with 47 percent of voting intentions, while President Jair Bolsonaro gained one point to 29 percent. No other candidate reached the 10-percent mark.
Why it matters. Polling numbers have remained largely stable for the past year, regardless of what is happening on the political scene.
