In a 79-1 vote that lasted over six hours, the Brazilian Senate passed a new plan to provide states with financial relief. It also allows for states and municipalities to renegotiate their debts (amounting to a BRL 120 billion in indirect aid). Our Weekly Report tomorrow will explain the plan in detail.
