Supreme Court Justice Ricardo Lewandowski ruled that Health Minister Eduardo Pazuello must update the government’s national Covid-19 immunization plan, including a new timetable for every phase of the campaign, after the start of vaccination was brought forward to January 18.

In December, Justice Lewandowski had already ordered the government to present its plan after lengthy delays from the Health Ministry. According to independent monitoring website Coronavírus Brasil, Brazil has already immunized 1,109 people across 16 states, with the majority being health professionals.
