Starting this week, the two main Brazilian airlines, Gol and Latam, will ask passengers to wear masks on commercial flights. According to their press statements, both companies said they have already required the use of masks by employees and are offering hand sanitizer on board. In-flight services are also suspended.

In other countries, however, more than suggesting the use of masks, companies are making it compulsory. As reported by Condé Nast, all major American airlines are requiring passengers to wear masks — with some making it mandatory at all stages of travel, including check-in. And some European airlines, as in the case of AirFrance, are said to be providing passengers with the necessary protective equipment.
