Huawei O.K. with 5G compromise deal in Brazil

Thanks to the behind-the-scenes work of Communications Minister Fábio Faria, the long-awaited auction of 5G frequencies in Brazil could happen by October of this year. In a week’s time, the Federal Accounts Court is set to approve the government’s bidding notice, paving the way for deals that could amount to BRL 44 billion (USD 8 billion).
