97-year-old is the oldest Brazilian to recover from Covid-19

A 97-year-old woman from Recife (in the northeastern state of Pernambuco) is the oldest person to recover from a coronavirus infection in Brazil. She was discharged this morning after spending 12 days in a São Paulo hospital. Her medical state was considered to be serious when she was first taken to the hospital.

According to state authorities, 14 people in Pernambuco have recovered from the coronavirus.
