Government to prioritize truck drivers and port workers in flu vaccination campaign

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the federal government has defined the priority groups for its 2020 flu vaccination campaign — brought forward in light of the coronavirus crisis. The first to receive the vaccines were senior citizens and health professionals. Now, the latest priorities will be truck drivers and port workers.

Vaccines will be administered in state and municipal health units across the country, as well as in 130 truckers’ service stations initially created to provide these drivers with food and hygiene products.
