Brazil’s federal health regulator Anvisa recommended that the government should force foreign citizens to show proof of vaccination upon entering the country. Travelers should have been fully immunized at least 14 days prior to arriving in Brazil.
Foreigners are currently only required to show a negative Covid test at Brazilian airports — while land borders remain closed. “The agency’s recommendation is not that proof of vaccination should be the only prerequisite for entry, but the main one.” Those who fail to comply, regulators say, should be forced to quarantine.
