Mexican economy performs above expectations at end of 2020

While Mexico’s 8.5-percent GDP plunge in 2020 is certainly no reason for celebration, the country took heart in economic results from the final quarter of last year. The country’s 3.3 percent growth in Q4 outstripped official forecasts, suggesting that Mexico is recovering at a faster pace than expected.
