São Paulo back to quarantine mode

On the day after Brazil saw a record number of new daily deaths, the São Paulo state government announced it is rolling back its reopening process. At midnight on Saturday, March 6, all regions of Brazil’s wealthiest state will enter the so-called “red phase,” meaning the strictest restrictions will be in place. From the weekend on, only essential businesses will be allowed to operate at any point of the day.
