Brazil to buy 13 million vaccine doses from Moderna

Pressured to ramp up its vaccination efforts, the Brazilian government has reportedly agreed to terms with Moderna to buy 13 million jabs from the American pharmaceutical company.

However, the doses are only expected to arrive in the second half of the year. The first 3 million doses will be delivered between July and September — with the remaining 10 million arriving between October and December.
