House Speaker Rodrigo Maia has supported the need for more funds in order to reorganize the Brazilian economy in the post-pandemic context, “even though it may increase the public debt,” reports newspaper O Estado de S.Paulo. Despite this, Mr. Maia highlighted the need to adhere to the country’s public spending cap, in order to maintain fiscal responsibility.
