São Paulo’s Education Secretary tests positive for coronavirus

Rossieli Soares, the chief education officer in the state of São Paulo, announced that he has tested positive for the coronavirus. On social media, he says he is feeling fine, as are members of his family. Mr. Soares undergoes treatment at a hospital and said his team shall be tested too. Several cabinet members of São Paulo’s local administration have already been diagnosed with Covid-19, including doctor David Uip, who was forced to step down as the coordinator of the state’s crisis committee.
