Health Ministry to (finally) integrate health information

Originally established in a 1990 law, the Health Ministry has finally decided to coordinate its databases to create new technical standards. These standards are related to the use and control of information systems, as well as to the Ministry’s integration with other health care units. One of the goals of the integrated database is to help in epidemiological control, which could contribute to the combat of the novel coronavirus.
