A new Brazilian study found that anticoagulants could be used to treat Covid-19. Heparin, a substance used to treat thrombosis, was administered to 27 patients, 15 of which showed an improvement in their health condition in four days or less. The study, published in the British Medical Journal, was conducted at the Sírio-Libanês Hospital in São Paulo. The findings are in line with similar studies throughout the world. The next step is to reconduct the research with a bigger sample size.
