1,800 São Paulo healthcare workers on leave for respiratory problems

At least 1,800 healthcare workers are on leave after presenting respiratory issues in São Paulo. So far, 95 tested positive for Covid-19. Nearly 20,000 healthcare professionals are working at municipal hospitals in São Paulo. At least 652 of them were already on leave before the start of the pandemic, according to the city’s health authority.
