Argentina opens up to vaccinated Brazilians

In line with the lifting of most Covid-19 restrictions in Argentina, the country opened up its borders to tourism from Brazil and other neighboring countries today.

Proof of full vaccination, a negative PCR test 72 hours before travelling, and another antigen test on arrival are still required, but quarantine is no longer needed unless tests come back positive.

The amount of flights available remains restricted but will be progressively increased as of today, from the current 2,300 passengers per day to 28,000 per week by mid-October.

One month from now, the government in Argentina will fully eliminate quotas to enter the county, the government announced, and tourists from across the globe will be free to enter the country, though vaccination requirements will remain.
