The Brazilian Health Ministry and other health institutions signed a document on Tuesday concerning the vaccination of teenagers between 12 and 17 years of age, once the entire adult population has received at least one dose. According to the ministry, young people with any form of pre-existing health condition will take priority in the vaccination queue. Carlos Lula, head of the national council of state health secretaries (Conass), said the vaccination of teenagers will begin within the next three to five weeks, by which time health officials expect all adults will have received at least one shot.
