Brazil’s Health Ministry has released its latest coronavirus update. Over the past 24 hours, the country recorded 10,611 infections and 730 deaths — bringing total figures to 155,939 and 10,627, respectively. What is particularly worrisome about today’s update is that it breaks with a trend of lowering numbers during weekends. We saw the highest daily figures for cases and the second-highest for deaths.
