Tech roundup: Who plays video games in Brazil?

Welcome to our Tech Roundup, where we bring you Brazil’s biggest stories in technology and innovation. This week: Seven out of ten Brazilians play video games, and most of them are non-white.

The Brazilian gaming profile

Seven out of ten Brazilians play video games at any point of the day and on any device, according to PGB, the most extensive survey on the consumption profile of the country’s gaming industry.

State of play. Nearly 15,000 people in every state were interviewed in January: 70 percent identified themselves as gamers, regardless of the platform – down from 74 percent last year.
