What happens if I subscribe to the limited-time offer?

The limited-time offer allows you to enjoy any plan of your choice for US$ 1 for the first month. At the end of the discount period, you will be charged automatically every month/year for the full price of your chosen membership for the selected period.

What are the differences between the three plans?

We offer three types of memberships: Lite, Standard, Premium.

The following sections are freely available to all members and non-members: podcasts, cartoons, videos, and live blogs.

Then, each subscription plan gives access to different categories, as follows:

Lite.  + articles

Standard. + articles and newsletters (Brazil Weekly newsletter only).

Premium. + articles and newsletters (Brazil Weekly, Brazil Daily, and Latin America Weekly newsletters).

If you have signed up for either a Premium or a Standard subscription, you will receive our newsletters directly to your inbox, along with our free weekly digest of all articles published on the website.

How long do memberships last?

Plans are available on either a rolling monthly or yearly basis. 

Of course, the more time you commit to your subscription, the less your membership will cost. 

For instance, when you sign up for a year, you get two months free.

What happens if I unsubscribe from The Brazilian Report's emails?
  • You will stop receiving our emails but will still have access to our website content for the rest of the period you paid for.

 

  • During your subscription period: Standard or Premium members will be withdrawn from our newsletter recipient list. However, all newsletters available to your subscription level will remain accessible at all times on our website.

 

I can’t access all of the articles on the website. What should I do?

First, you should check your subscription.

To have free access to all sections of our website, you need a Premium membership.

If not, access will remain partial. Lite subscribers will only have access to news articles and not newsletters published on our website, while Standard subscribers will have access to news articles and Brazil Weekly newsletters, but not the Brazil Daily and Latin America Weekly newsletters.

 

I don’t receive the newsletters I am supposed to receive, what should I do?
  • Check which paid plan you have subscribed to. If you haven’t subscribed to a Premium plan you will not receive either the Brazil Daily or the Latin America Weekly newsletter. If you have a Lite subscription, you will receive NO newsletters, with the exception of a free weekly digest including all articles published over the week.

 

  • Check your spam folder, as sometimes our newsletters can be filtered by email clients.

 

  • If you haven’t done it yet, add us as a favorite in your mailbox.

 

I want to stop receiving newsletters in my mailbox; what should I do?

You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by clicking “unsubscribe me” at the bottom of any email sent from The Brazilian Report. You’ll still be able to access our website by logging in.

I can’t remember my password
  • I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the login screen, you should see a “lost my password” button. Click on it, and we’ll send you an email to reset your password.

  • I want to change my password.

Log into your account and click Account Details. From here, you will be able to change your password.

What payment options do you offer?

Payment can be made in either BRL or USD, it’s up to you. You can either pay via PayPal or Stripe; both are internationally recognized and secured payment platforms.

How does renewal work?

Renewals are automatic, but you can access your account dashboard and uncheck the automatic renewal option if you wish. 

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time, but you won’t get a refund for the time left*. You will continue to have access to our website until the end of the cycle you paid for.

How do I manage my subscription and other purchases?

When you log into our website, you automatically land on your dashboard. The left-hand panel offers several options to manage your account:

“My Subscription” allows you to see the details of your subscription, check your next payment date, add a payment method, or cancel your membership.

“Downloads” gives you access to all of your reports and eBook purchases.

“Account Details” allows you to change your password.

“Payment Methods” allows you to add or change payment methods.

Can I upgrade/ downgrade?

Should you decide to upgrade or downgrade, you will be billed accordingly. For instance, if you upgrade halfway through your billing cycle, your next payment will correspond to 15 days at the lower subscription level, and 15 days at the higher subscription level.
