Cocaine exports from Colombia reached unprecedented new highs in 2020, according to the most recent report from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). Data shows that the presumed cocaine production in the country topped 1,200 tons — an 8-percent increase from 2019 — with less than half being seized by authorities.
