Secure lead or beginning of a comeback?
Datafolha, Brazil’s most-renowned pollster, published its latest reading of the presidential race last night. And, as with pretty much everything in this election, each side of the dispute interpreted the results in its own way.
Good for Bolsonaro. President Jair Bolsonaro’s numbers improved outside of the confidence interval, from 29 to 32 percent since late in July. It continues a positive trend for the incumbent, who is making strides in segments such as Evangelical Christians and voters earning between two and five times the minimum wage.
