Leading public university creates ‘anti-fake news’ project

A group of graduate students from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (USP) has launched the “Covid Verificado” app, with the goal of scientifically fact-checking information related to the coronavirus pandemic and debunking fake news. On the platform, users can also find reliable reports on Covid-19 and the latest developments, as well as news on social isolation guidelines.
