Brazil now second in daily Covid-19 deaths

With 751 new deaths reported on Friday, Brazil has now passed the United Kingdom as the country with the second-highest number of new Covid-19-related daily deaths in the world. Only the U.S. reported more deaths on Friday, with 1,760 casualties. Brazil is expected to reach the 10,000-death mark this Saturday, becoming the sixth country to do so, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.
