President Jair Bolsonaro authorized the inclusion of two more categories to the nationwide essential business list: industrial and construction activities. This includes key sectors of Brazil’s economy such as manufacturing, transportation, and energy. Since yesterday evening, the decree supersedes social isolation measures set by local governments.
