Jair Bolsonaro’s response to Covid-19 as deaths pile up

On Tuesday, Jair Bolsonaro was asked about the rising number of Covid-19 deaths in Brazil. His response: “So what? I’m sorry. What do you want me to do?”

The president has become the global poster boy for coronavirus denialism and recently called social isolation measures “useless.” Meanwhile, his new Health minister has admitted that the government is “flying blind” and has no idea of the true extent of the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
