Alagoas Governor Renan Calheiros Filho announced on Saturday evening that he has tested positive for Covid-19. “I’m at home, feeling well, without severe symptoms. I will start today a 14-day quarantine for my recovery,” he wrote in a statement.
Mr. Calheiros Filho is the third Brazilian governor infected with the coronavirus — after Rio de Janeiro’s Wilson Witzel and Pará’s Helder Barbalho.
