Government has injected 1.5 percent of the promised 8 billion

As of this morning, the federal government has injected BRL 119 million (USD 23.3 million) into the economy — which accounts for only 1.5 percent of the originally promised BRL 8 billion. When the package was announced 20 days ago, the government stated that the whole amount would be issued by the end of March. Now the Secretariat of Government of the Presidency says bureaucracy has delayed the payments.
