A newborn in São Paulo is the youngest person to test positive for Covid-19 in Brazil. The child is being treated with antibiotics and his medical state is fair. The mother also contracted the novel coronavirus — but doctors do not believe the child was infected during the pregnancy. Previously, the same hospital had reported a 44-year-old pregnant woman had died after testing positive for Covid-19. She was 32 weeks pregnant, and both the mother and the unborn child passed away.
