Editor-in-chief Gustavo Ribeiro spoke to Al Jazeera English about Jair Bolsonaro’s denialist approach to the coronavirus crisis. Brazil’s right-wing president is placing the burden of tackling Covid-19 on the country’s state administrations in the hope that he will benefit, he said. “If the (locally imposed) measures work and the community can see some normality returning he will say ‘Look: I told you it was nothing’,” said Mr. Ribeiro.
