Guedes goes to Europe for meetings with OECD representatives

Economy Minister Paulo Guedes will spend the next week traveling Europe to meet with OECD representatives and businesspeople in the region. The minister leaves on Saturday with his first stop scheduled to be at the organization’s headquarters in Paris to try to accelerate the process of Brazil’s entry into the organization.

Mr. Guedes will hold a meeting with OECD’s Secretary-General Mathias Cormann and will meet with directors and permanent representatives of member states. In addition, he will also participate in an event with businessmen and hold a press conference.

Afterwards, the minister will go to Madrid where Mr. Guedes will hold a dialogue session with government authorities in a forum of the International Foundation for Freedom, and bilateral meetings with the Spanish press and businessmen.
