Walmir Oliveira da Costa, a judge on Brazil’s Superior Labor Court, has died of Covid-19 complications at the age of 63. Chief judge Maria Cristina Peduzzi declared three days of mourning. The news came one day before Brazil surpassed 400,000 total coronavirus deaths. As of late March, more than 100 Brazilian politicians have died from Covid-19, including three senators.
