Automobile manufacturer Hyundai will resume full-scale operations in São Paulo on June 26, instead of its original plan of May 27, in an attempt to curb the spread of the coronavirus. The decision will impact workers at its Piracicaba factory and offices in São Paulo.

As reported by news website G1, the company resumed activities on May 13 with only 700 workers, and the remaining staff were expected to return on Wednesday. Lay-offs enforced since April were postponed until June 25, and no salary cuts have been proposed.
