According to Rio Mayor Marcelo Crivella, the 300 new ventilators will be distributed to three hospitals.

Another three shipments from China are set to arrive in the city over the coming days. Two batches of 150 ventilators each should arrive on May 28 and May 29, with an extra order of 120 respirators expected for May 30.
