The Covid-19 death toll in Brazil has risen by 42 in the last 24 hours, now reaching 201. The country also had its biggest daily increase in confirmed cases, with an extra 1,138 infections since the Health Ministry’s last update on Monday. This increase is more than double the previous one-day record, which stood at 502 cases.
