The state government of Rio Grande do Sul decided to keep its schools closed at least until April 30. “We do not see, at this moment, the possibility of rolling back restrictions during the month of April. Though in many cases [students] do not develop the disease more severely, young people and children can transmit Covid-19,” explained Governor Eduardo Leite on Twitter.
