Blowing the whistle on public service failures

Brazil’s Federal Comptroller’s Office created a hotline to receive complaints related to public services during the Covid-19 pandemic. The whistleblowing channel will receive statements related to the provision of services, the lack of hospital supplies or personal protective equipment (PPE).

Another communication channel was released by the Brazilian Telecoms Agency (Anatel): 196. The telephone number may be used as an emergency service for Covid-19-related actions.
